cold email spam checker

Try Our Simple and Free Email Spam Checker

Test your email before you send it. Find risky words, check your inbox-safety score, and see exactly what to fix before launch.

How to use the email tester

Follow four short steps to test your email for spam risks, understand the score, and fix the message before you send your campaign.

  1. Step 01

    Paste the subject and body

Include the signature and any links. Filters read the whole message, so a partial paste gives a partial answer.

  2. Step 02

    Run the check

The copy is scanned for trigger language, formatting patterns, link behaviour and structural signals that filters weight.

  3. Step 03

    Read the flags

Every risk is listed with its severity and the exact phrase or pattern that caused it, so there is no guessing at what to change.

  4. Step 04

    Fix and re-run

Apply the suggested changes and check again. The score updates immediately so you can see whether the fix actually helped.

How the spam checker works

Deliverability has two halves: your sending infrastructure and your message. This tool covers the message. It scans copy for the language, formatting and link patterns that filters treat as promotional or risky, and returns each one with a severity and a fix.

It will not tell you whether your domain is authenticated or your sending reputation is healthy, because those are infrastructure questions rather than copy questions. What it does catch is the avoidable half, which is usually where cold email goes wrong first.

How this compares to paid tools

Deliverability suites are priced for teams and mostly test infrastructure. This checks the half of the problem that lives in your copy, in a few seconds.

Who this is for

SDRs whose replies suddenly dropped

When a sequence that worked stops working, the copy often changed before the infrastructure did. Check the message first.

Founders sending from a new domain

A new domain has no reputation to spend. Clean copy matters more in the first weeks than at any other time.

Ops leads auditing templates

Run the shared template library through once and fix the handful of lines that are quietly hurting everyone's delivery.

Agencies protecting client domains

You are sending on someone else's reputation. Catching a risky phrase before launch is cheaper than recovering a domain.

Anyone writing their first cold email

Most first cold emails contain two or three habits carried over from marketing copy that do not survive a cold inbox.

Popular use cases

01 · Use case

Pre-flight check before a sequence launch

Run every step once before the sequence goes live. Fixing a flagged phrase costs a minute; recovering a burned domain costs weeks.

02 · Use case

Diagnosing a sequence that stopped landing

Compare the current copy against the version that used to work and see which flags are new.

03 · Use case

Cleaning up templates inherited from marketing

Marketing copy is written to persuade a warm audience. In a cold inbox the same phrases read as promotional and get filtered.

No, and any tool that claims it does is overselling. This checks the copy half of deliverability. Domain authentication, sending reputation and list quality matter just as much.
